Overview
A Certificate in TESL is the basic minimum teaching qualification
necessary for employment in most English language schools.
It is, at the same time, your key to traveling the world and
discovering new cultures and peoples as the demand for English
language training and qualified instructors mushrooms around
the world.

TESL
Course: Qualifies for TESL Canada certification (candidates must apply directly to TESL Canada) Generally
accepted as sufficient for teaching in many private language
schools in Canada and overseas.
Length:
- Full-time: 5 weeks plus 2 weeks practicum
- Part-time: 16 weeks plus 2 week practicum
Hours of Instruction:
- 100 (not
including break time)
Class Times (includes breaks)
- 9:am to 1:30 pm (5 week course) Monday
to Friday
- Part-time: Mondays and Wednesday from
6:00 pm to 9:15 pm
Hours of Practicum: 30
Maximum Class Size: 8

- 100 hours of Theory and Methodology
- includes 2 TESL focus workshops:
- Creating Creative and communicative
Grammar lessons
- New Technologies in ESL
- 15 hours of observation
- 15 hours of supervised teaching

Cost (including materials):
- Canadian Residents:
$1250.00
+ $50.00 for text (Canadian citizens/residents).
- Foreign students: $1600.00 plus 50 text. $100 registration fee.
