Quest programs
have been carefully designed with your needs as our
first priority. All our programs are clearly defined
and offer a comprehensive approach to language leaning
based on proven communicative techniques. The tables
below provide a view of the structure of our study
periods and the possible hours of study.
Student Progress - weekly testing
In all programs weekly tests
are given to evaluate student progress. Your instructor
keeps track of your scores and will provide you with
a monthly Student Progress Evaluation report. Your
test results combined with your Evaluation report
determine your readiness to move to the next level.

break-time
in the hours of study. When we say 25 hours of study
we mean 25 complete hours of class time.

Focus on language structure and grammar functions through effective communicative techniques and active participation.
Students registered in any of the Focused English programs must take
periods 3 and 4 in
addition to periods 1
and 2 or only period 2.
Period 5 is optional.
Theoretical foundations and techniques in second language acquisition.

10:15 to 12:15
Focus on oral communication skills. Develop
your listening and speaking skills and learn new
vocabulary as you actively practice your language skills.
Methodology and language teaching in practice. Continues through
period 3, finishing at 1:30.

Open Elective Workshops - 1 hour each
Workshop choices vary based on level and availability.

Integrated Skills Practice: Bring together all your
language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
in one comprehensive practice class.
Guided Self-Study: Instructor support and detailed
lesson plans for guided learning using computer, English audio/ video material, and the latest language software.

Programs
Chat Buddy - This program matches up to 5 students with a Canadian friend with whom you can practice English naturally as you learn about Canada, its people and culture. Time and day can vary - normally on Saturdays.
Guided Self-Study- See period 5 above. Open to all students. Up to 10 hours per week.
Private classes - Students registered in core programs can take advantage of discounts for private classes.
