program for developing your English skills for communication
in the world of business.
The International Business English Program will enable you to improve
your vocabulary, writing and listening abilities so that you
may effectively function in business situations involving
face to face meetings, writing correspondence, making presentations,
negotiating and even business lunches and social gatherings.
As part of the program you will meet with local and international corporate leaders, visit workplaces and international trade centres such as the Toronto Stock Exchange. learning the langaue etiquitte involved in meetings and business lunches
In addition, you will learn about North
American business customs and practices and vocabulary for
your particular field of work or study.
You may take this
course as part of your preparation for the TOEIC or BEC. Afternoon
workshops (period 3) focusing on TOEIC exam preparation are available for students who wish to take the TOEIC test. Business English workshops are also available.
